Dampeners Model 8105

Designed to protect gauges from pressure spikes caused from fluid hammer by decreasing the orifice size in the line (also known as a snubber). This restricts the flow to the gauge, meaning that any sudden pressure spikes will be restricted by the orifice and dissipated once they reach the gauge. The orifice size exposed to the gauge can be adjusted by rotating the flat head scew in or out on the dampener (works on the same principal as a needle valve).
